Madras Curry Powder

from $7.50
Size:

Spice Level: Mild

This is the Classic OG, the curry powder passed down to me by two generations, and the one I reach for most. Mild, warm and earthy, it builds a proper Madras-style base: single-origin Pratibha turmeric (5.5% curcumin), Thalassery peppercorn, Malana fennel and cumin, roasted with curry leaves and split chickpeas, then ground in small batches in Melbourne.

Use it for: chicken or lamb curry, egg curry, fish and prawns, potato fry, roast veg. How: fry onions, add the masala, cook for a minute, add tomato and water. Restaurant-style in 30 minutes.

No artificial flavours. No added preservatives. Eco-friendly packaging. Happy cooking, Sakthi

Why High-Grade Spices Matter

Flavour That Speaks Volumes

When you use high-quality spices, your taste buds immediately notice the difference. Low-grade or stale spices lose their potency over time, resulting in flat, underwhelming flavours. High-grade spices, however, are harvested at the peak of freshness and carefully processed to retain their essential oils, providing a vibrant and aromatic flavour that elevates any dish. They are farm-sourced via partners and single-origin.
